Hi Rich, thanks for your feedback! Intensity control is one of the biggest challenges we face when doing any sporting activity. In your case, you control the intensity by taking your Heart Rate and Maximum Heart Rate as a reference. It is important to know how you estimate your Maximum Heart Rate. The most popular formula is Age-220, but this has been proven to give incorrect results in trained people. Either way, the above formula for calculating your Maximum Heart Rate is always a safe starting point. It is normal your heart rate increases when standing pedaling at higher rpms. The best way to control it is to reduce the resistance (GEARS), so that the increase in your heart rate would be much less or you will stay in the zone. Whenever we talk about Heart Rate and intensity control, if you feel that something is not right, or going wrong, please you should always consult your doctor before making any decision. See you at the saddle!

Hi Thank you for your message When The Ride's Trainers talk about levels, they are talking about different intensities and training zones. Depending on the method you choose to use, Power, Heart Rate or RPE (Rate Perception Of Effort), the levels or training zones will have different ranges in watts, beats per minute or how you perceive the effort. For training intensity control, we recommend using power, but we understand that it is up to our riders to choose what they like or are used to. You can increase or decrease the intensity according to the trainer's indications taking into account the Resistance (Gears) or Cadence (RPMs). For more information, we recommend you watch the video tutorials on intensity and its control methods as well as Intensity Control info in our Blog #enjoytheride
Thanks for your feedback, Stephen!! We are very happy to know that you are following us from Australia, where The Ride becomes popular in the last months. #enjoytheride and have a great and very active summer!!!!

Hello Sandra Thank you for your feedback. Our editing and production department has reviewed all Amanda's Ride Series Videos and it looks they are running well. We can't be sure if it was an internet connection error with our online platform at the time. Could you tell us exactly which episode? Thanks.
This week's new Ride "Rhythm Bronco" has been updated correctly. Once again thank you for your feedback.
