I don’t enjoy the ride ready rides because they don’t have the instructor facing me….. this helps me feel like I’m in a real cycle class!….. I am motivated to push through the ride by their facial expressions and their gestures! Their verbal coaching is great too I learn a lot and get to know them and their style!😋…., even if I don’t speak their language, their voices are quite motivating! The one other technical thing about these rides is the contrast of the speed parameter….. white on grey is hard to see while white on black, like on the rides with instructors is very visible and I think speed is very important! I understand %FTP but don’t use it when I’m riding…. I use speed and zone color along with watts of power.
